HORSE RACING: Top trainers at Exeter for Cheltenham preview

LEADING trainer Paul Nicholls will be appearing at the Paddy Power-supported Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening at Exeter Racecourse on Thursday.
The champion trainer was due to parade his team of Cheltenham hopefuls on Wednesday to journalists and TV crews, but following a disappointing weekend the trainer has cancelled saying: “It is fairly obvious we had a moderate weekend.
"We have several horses coughing and my first priority is to owners in my yard.
“It is my duty to leave no stone unturned now as we prepare for the last three weeks before The Festival and, in these circumstances, we do not feel it is appropriate to invite the media on Wednesday.”
Nicholls will be joined by Philip Hobbs, David Pipe, Nick Williams, the Racing Post’s Andrew King.
