Moto cross thriller
9:54am Monday 8th March 2010
MOTO cross fans from across the West Country made the journey north yesterday for the annual Hawkstone Park International meeting.
The racing featured a host of the world's top riders and the action was fast and furious on a track in perfect condition.
Former world champion Steve Ramon came out on top in the MX1 class on his Suzuki with a third and first finish.
He edged out KTM's Max Magl with Tanel Leok on a Honda making up the podium after winning the first moto.
In MX2, 15-year-old German Ken Roczan produced a stunning performance to dominate both races.
He then led the Superfinal - featuring the top riders from both classes - before being hunted down and passed by Leok.
