Improvements at Mid Devon Council

MID DEVON Council has made significant improvements according to Government Officials.
The Council has been commended for improving its resources, sharing good practice and providing effective leadership to the community.
Council leader Peter Hare-Scott said: “Over the last three years, the Council has transformed the way it operates.
“This has now been acknowledged by the Government Office South West, the Audit Commission and the Improvement and Development Agency.
“Our financial position is much more secure and we are as well placed as any to face the challenging times ahead.”
