Horse wedged inside barn at Rackenford

FIRE crews were called to Rackenford near Tiverton earlier today after a horse became wedged inside a delapidated stone barn and became unable to turn around to release itself. One fire appliance from Witheridge and the specialist rescue team from Barnstaple quickly released the horse, which was uninjured and returned to the care of its owner.
